Volunteers from throughout the UK come together once a year to be updated on the Fund's achievements and the problems children have faced over the past year and to be informed of future campaigns. (In 1999 it will be Save The Children from Violence). This year's meeting was held at The Assembly Rooms in Derby. Its an opportunity for volunteers to meet the people who are responsible for running Save the Children. Its the place we go to recharge our SCF batteries and to leave feeling inspired to do that little bit more in the coming year.
