<description><![CDATA[This is a quiz evening between tables of 6 or 8 people. Eight people per table is a good number but this will depend on the size of room where the event is held. It is easiest to sell tickets by asking people to make up tables of the relevant numbers and that person is responsible for collecting the ticket money for their tables. 

Around 8 rounds of questions with about 10 questions in each round is about right for the evening. Each round is a different category and each team (table) can play]]></description>

<title>After Dinner Raffles - with a difference!</title>

<description><![CDATA[Here is a very easy and profitable way to run an after dinner raffle. 

Instead of the same volunteers going round all the tables trying to sell raffle tickets why not place several small brown envelopes on each table (1 per guest), you then ask your guests to write their names on the front and place their donation inside and seal it. 

The envelopes are then collected and drawn out of a large container just like ordinary raffle tickets. It saves a great deal of time and raises a great deal ]]></description>
