YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE - BOHEME CHARITY APPEAL
Posted on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 @ 21:01:44 UTC by admin
Boheme is a British male vocal group founded by John Innes in 2004. Boheme means ‘free spirit’ and one of the group’s core objectives is to help disadvantaged children. On 18th February 2005 at the Leeds Rugby Club, Headingley Stadium just before the Leeds Rhinos vs St Helens match, Bohemeofficially launched their charity appeal in conjunction with Save the Children. The group sang a few tracks from their charity cd which is priced at £5 and will be on sale at the Leeds Rugby Club Shop from 18th February.

This male quintet felt compelled to produce a cd to raise funds for orphans of the recent Asian tsunami as well as for other children in the world’s most impoverished nations. SCUK is a member of the International Save the Children Alliance, an alliance of 32 national member organisations that work together in over 120 countries. All profits generated from the Boheme appeal will go to Save the Children. The cd is titled “You’ll Never Walk Alone” as it is so easy to feel abandoned or isolated if life deals you a bitter blow. The Asian tsunami orphans can surely attest to this fact. By the same token, millions of children in Africa have lost both parents to Aids. Boheme would like to do their part in giving these children hope and a chance of a brighter future. If the appeal can change the life of just one child, then they strongly believe that it will be worth the effort!

Boheme will be at the following venues - click on read more for further details
