2000 children a year are locked up for immigration purposes in the UK.
We need your help to end the detention of children.

"Detention is like a cage, and I was like a small bird with no food in it.
I wished I could fly..."

Navid, 7, spent 32 days in detention in Yarl's Wood.

The No Place for a Child website has now gone live, marking the official launch to our campaign to stop detaining children in the UK.
Please visit it here www.noplaceforachild.org and lobby Charles Clarke and your local MP to stop this appalling practice that has such damaging effects on children and young people.

We need at least10,000 signatures, and your support will make a huge difference.
